Wake has set a goal of $10,000 this GiveNOLA Day to to pilot the Community Deathcare Provider Training Program. This first-of-its-kind training program empowers anyone with the interest to be able to support loved ones when they inevitably have to deal with end of life. The immersive class will teach skills that anyone can learn for handling the challenges of end-of-life care, and provides an overview of local resources that are available, with tips for how to navigate local agencies and services.
