Once again Wake will be supporting the Memorial for the Unhoused on Sunday, May 18th from from 3 pm through dinner at Duncan Plaza. This annual vigil and memorial honors our neighbors, family, friends, and loved ones lost last year in New Orleans to homelessness and houselessness.
Each year, Letusnotforget nola hosts this inclusive gathering, as "a place for feeling, for heartbreak, for grief, for coming together, and for always remembering those who have left us, how they changed us, and that we must in turn change this world into a more just place in their memory."
