About the event
Planning in advance for our death includes making both practical and medical decisions. Ideally those decisions are guided by our values and informed by time we've spent thoughtfully considering what we think will be important to us at the end of life. This month we'll focus on prompts for thinking about (and talking about) the values and beliefs that will help us make those plans.
Wake’s monthly Community Deathcare Meeting is open to anyone working in end-of-life care in the New Orleans area, as a volunteer or professionally, and to anyone interested in doing that work. It’s an opportunity to meet each other, to share resources, and to explore how we can support each other in meeting the needs of our community.
This month we'll be meeting as a part of the New Orleans Healing Center's Health Fair for People & Pets event on Saturday, June 29 from 11am to 4pm. Come enjoy the fair, and then come upstairs to Suite 204 at 1pm and join us to network and learn about deathcare!
