About the event
New Orleans-area Death Doulas (and aspiring and/or curious doulas-to-be), join Wake in welcoming Death Doula Ashley Johnson, President of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance, (NEDA), for a conversation about doula training, starting a business, working together and in community, and anything else you want to ask!
We anticipate a collegial conversation (with pastries!) and an opportunity to connect, network, and share resources.
The event is free and open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the work of a death doula. You do not need to be a member of NEDA to attend! But a headcount is appreciated, so visit this link to RSVP!
About our Guest: Ashley Johnson embarked on a transformative journey from forensic anthropology to founding Loyal Hands, a consulting agency reshaping end-of-life services. A University of Florida alumna and licensed direct disposer, she's also a celebrant, enriching ceremonies with personalized meaning.
