About the event
”End of life planning is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of ensuring our wishes are honored and our loved ones are protected. For the LGBTQ+ community, this takes on even greater significance, as historical disparities in legal rights and recognition have made it more challenging to secure our legacies,” said Jay Huffstatler, Gulf South LGBTQ+ Chamber Board President. “The Gulf South LGBTQ+ Chamber is excited to partner with Wake and Schoen Funeral Home to provide this vital information to our community. Together, we are empowering individuals to take control of their future, offering peace of mind and dignity through comprehensive planning.”
