April Community Deathcare Meeting

 

Planning in advance for our death isn't simply a legal and logistical exercise. It's a way of caring for the people we love, who will be grieving when we die. This month we'll focus on the information those people will need, when you're gone, and break down what might seem like an overwhelming task (essentially documenting all the administrative details of your life) into categories and tasks that you can begin with. It's a marathon, not a sprint! Especially if you plan ahead!

Wake’s monthly Community Deathcare Meeting is open to anyone working in end-of-life care in the New Orleans area, as a volunteer or professionally, and to anyone interested in doing that work. It’s an opportunity to meet each other, to share resources, and to explore how we can support each other in meeting the needs of our community.

A note about Propeller: Parking is available and the building entrance is through the glass double doors at the back of the front parking lot.
